Bill Cauble, a native of Albany, Texas, lives and works twenty miles from his hometown on the legendary Lambshead Ranch, where he honed the chuck wagon cooking skills that made him renowned as both a cook and preservationist of authentic chuck wagon equipment and methods. Cauble has served as president of the Ranching Heritage Center in Lubbock, Texas. His chuck wagon catering company, Western Wagons, regularly cooks for gatherings at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City Cliff Teinert, creator of the first chuck wagon cookoff -- held in Abilene, Texas -- also founded the first catering company to feature a working ranch chuck wagon -- Texas Trails Chuck Wagon, which debuted in the early 1970s. He is on the board of directors of Fort Worth's Southwestern Livestock Show & Exposition and is a director of the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. A resident of Albany, Texas, Teinert is a rancher and historic preservationist Watt Matthews Casey Jr. is a descendant of a pioneer ranching family that came to Texas in 1847. He is continuing that family ranching tradition while photographing images that capture his heart. His photos of ranch life and musicians have appeared in various media, An accomplished breadmaker -- milling his own wheat -- this is his first foray into food photography.
